Penerapan metode guided discovery untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dan sikap ilmiah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar :
This study aimed to reveal that there was a difference improving in learning outcomes of cognitive and attitude of science: consisting of curiocity, perseverance, open minded, cooperative between the students taught by using the Guided Discovery method and those taught by the conventional method in the upper and lower capacity of classes at Year V students of elementary school, with consider IQ, students' learning habit and entry capability factors. This study was a quasi-experimental study with intact class. Design was used a pretest posttest control group design. Research subjects comprised all of year V students. Data were analyzed by using the ANACOVA, univariate analysis at the significance level of 0.05. The analysis was stated that: 1)There was a difference improving in learning outcomes of cognitive between the students taught by using the Guided Discovery method and those taught by the convensional method in the upper capacity of class.
