Development of democracy in Indonesia, according to Bung Hatta, sourced on three things: Western socialism that of struggling for humanistic principles which at the same time deemed as a goal of democracy, Islamic teaching that of urging for God justice within society, and way of life which implemented in country-side of Indonesia. Post falling of New Order, Indonesian democracy faced development in new level, at least if we learn stances and thought of three Islamic groups in Indonesia, namely: liberal Islam, radical, and moderate. Their stance and thought could be learned through splicing it with the democracy as a political system and value of life in Indonesia.ifa.
