Respon komunitas madrasah terhadap upaya pengarusutamaan gender dalam pendidikan : sebuah kajian dalam perspektif strategi komunikasi /
State policy regarding gender mainstreaming applies to all aspects within national development including education. This means that every process of education development should integrate gender equality and gender based justice. Therefore, proper understanding on gender equity among society is necessary. This paper focuses on how madrasah ommunity responses towards the gender mainstreaming measures that is intiated from building understanding on gender within the madrasah community. The study shows that there are three categories. First is the community that responses positively and agrees on the the need for implementing gender inclusive strategy in education. The study also shows that respondents from this community have high educational background. The second community tends to have grey but more dynamic towards gender idea.
