Pemberontakan elegan seorang Siddhartha :
Based on Herman Hess's novel entitled Siddhartha's spiritual quest to which the writer sees through Emerson's transcendentalism perspective. Siddhartha's spiritual quest is portrayed thruough different phases of life: the Brahmin, the Samana the merchant, and finally the boatman. An important distinction between spirituality in religion and spirituality outside religion appears as Siddhartha's elegant rebellion towards the establishment of worshipping servise of his own religion. The reason for his entire quest is peacefulness and meaningfulness of life. And the role of transcendentalism is important since it depicts the process of the quest itself, focusing on the life on the river as the objects to which Siddhartha, with his transcendental thoughts, discovers his destiny and the aim of life.ifa.
