People mainly expect that conventional economics can reducethe crisis of life. It has, however, weaknes and incapability to handle current economics problems. Islamic economics, a field of economics that relates to Islamic law, appears to be an alternative concept to handle these problems. The history of Islamic economics has been growing since the civilized society of Madinah was built up. But at that time, Islamic economics was not familiar yet as an independent system. In the long run, Islamic economics has developed and become a popular framework. Many expert were born contributing in the development of Islamic economics from the early period of Islamic history up to the present. Islamics economics do not only correspond to Islamic banking but to all institutions that operate their products on the basis of interest-free transactions like; Islamic insurances, Islamic stock exchange, Islamic pawnshop, Baitul Mal wa Tamwil [BMT], etc.ifa.
