Kepemimpinan Kyai dalam perubahan manajemen pondok pesantren : studi kasus pondok pesantren Tebuireng Jombang /
This study is aimed at deseribing 1)the third leadership in pesantren Tebuireng, 2)the change of management, and 3)supporting and handicapped factors in leadership. As an agent of change, Kyai facing some handicapped factors like low quality of human resource in terms of discipline, school administration management, learning method, and the lack of foreign language mastery. While internal supporting factors are from domestic/ internal family that is the making of condusive situation by Hasyim family and external supports [friends, businessman, profesional, official, and Kyai relatives]. By the effort of reducing handicapped factors and enforce supporting factors, it seems the change intended [programmed] has run very well penetrating aspects of pesantren management like: education, students, human resource, equipment and infrastructure, finance, and public relation.ifa.
