Gender issue becomes an interesting concern in education for there has been cultural bias and gender inequalities that unconsiously spread out through teaching and learning activities. Some learning materials, especially in elementary and secondary schools, still show gender bias on occupation of women in general. This article will describe some pictures and illistrations in learning materials of diploma program of teacher Training in Sport Education at Universitas Terbuka. The result shows that although there were no conscious gender sensitivity in the development of learning materials, fortunately there was sufficient gender equality. Most of pictures and illustrations in the learning materials could be considered neutral for it show genderless person. But unfortunately in some learning materials cultural bias still prevails. Female illustrations have been labelling sports which do not require much strenght and power such as basic gymnastic and child games, while male...ifa.
