Preparing elementary school teachers to teach science by inquiry in distance education can not be separated from the use of media and information technology. In this study modules were used as a main learning sources and video recorded modelling as educational media, which was developed using research and development [R
D] cycles. This study involved 43 elementary school teachers who are students of S1 PGSD program in Serang Regional Office of Universitas Terbuka. The strategy used on tutorial is strategy called TDPSPM. This study analyzed student's perception on some aspects of the use of video recorded modelling such as models in the video, visual aspects, voice and systematization of the content. More over this study also showed respondent opinion about the affectiveness of video recorded modelling in improving respondent's knowledge as well as respondent's ability to teach science in elementary school. Data in this study were collected by questionnaire and interview...ifa.
