This paper explores the problems and challanges of current Indonesian youth. It is especially concerned with personal and social problems facing by Indonesian youth that effect to the performance of whole Indonesian generation in the future. It is argued that the contemporary Indonesian youth trapped by problem that exist in society, such as poverty, high crime rates, limited access to education and poor qualities of health facilities, and so forth. As a result, the mental development of youth may be disupted. Further, they are unable to develop their potential to succeed. Therefore, parents, teachers, communities and governments should work hard together to help the youth to solve their problems in order to lead them to be strong and successful generation.ifa.
