It is hard to deny that ijtihad has been started to take contemporary problems in hand. Replacement of individual ijtihad [ijtihad fardhi] with collective ijtihad [ijtihad jama'i] indicates the change and shifting in ijtihad mechanism. To evolve and make wider study deals with the principles of fiqh is absolutely required. To approach the law using the principles of fiqh is one type of 'moderate' ijtihads. In order to face any challenges and changes in society, Islamic law that has basic on fiqh principles is regarded as an appropriate solution due to its flexibility, capability and breadth of range. Implementation of fiqh principles set these three points as conditions; first, fully carefulness in implementation of fiqh principles; second, researching in exemption of fiqh principles; third, consistency of relationship among fiqh principles.ifa.
