Imago Dei dalam konsep theosofi Islam : manusia sempurna menurut Ibn 'Arabi /
Imago Dei comes from Latin language, which means God Image; this term in the view of philoshopical Muslim Mystics or Sufi has a meaning of perfect human being as God image under the sun. The concept appeared in Muslim Sufi circle because of their understanding of the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad, which explains that Allah has created Adam according to His image.Later, the concept was translated by al Hallaj as Hulul and in more perfect one by Ibn 'Arabi as Insan Kamil which is the actual meaning of wahdat al wujud. Ibn 'Arabi is the founder of the fundamental idea of wahdat al wujud. Recently the contributors to the discource have been growing rapidly among scholars of metaphysics especially Islamic mysticism. This article descriptively elaborates the opinion of Ibn 'Arabi on the essence of human being before God, perfect human being as God image [Imago Dei] called as Insan Kamil; explains a chronological process of God tajalli in the creation of human being and how human.....yo.
