This article deals with fundamentalism by perceiving it as the source of code of belief for modern Islamic ideologies, in general, idealise Islamic rulings and concrete examples of muslim's life in the early Islam as the orientation of their movement. They differ in focusing their own ideological orientation, however. While revivalism, for instance, gives emphasis to religious and political aspects, puritanism merely to religious facets [especially theology and rituals], and Islamism to Islam an ideology for all aspects of life. In a particular reference to Islamism, this ideology necessitates the socalled Islamisation of knowledge and science.yo.
