The construction of Islamic knowledge is seen as something not absolute, because it is related with societal dynamic. As an identity concept it is need an atmosphere which is adatable with social life. And so do the construction of Islamic knoeledge in IAIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. IAIN faces a crucial problem, namely the dilemma of methodoligical transformation. Such dilemma is existas auto-critique reaction of Islamic knowledge transformation. One of a triggered issue is the gape between the expectation of student and the reality of their life. It is need to search a new form of change and renewal at the ontological, epistemological and axiological level concerning adaptation and methodological construction of Islamic knowledge.yo.
