This study dicusses the verses of al Qur'an that are identified as the verses of imamah which are, then, established by syi'ah followers as the argumentation of their imamah doctrines. Firstly, tracing and collecting their interpretation of the verses was done, then those interpretation were compared with the Sunni's interpretation of the some verses. The result shows that there are some differences and similarities between those two school in their interpretation of the imamah verses.het.
