Proses belajar mengajar dan keberhasilan mahasiswa program intensif bahasa Arab di fakultas Adab :
This study tries to uncover the Arabic teaching and learning process in Adab faculty, the teaching methods used by lecturers, and the outcomes of the intensive program. This study used qualitative and quantitative approuches. The former was used to obtain the data of teaching-learning proces. The latter was to uncover the outcomes achived by students. The research findings are as follows. First, generally speaking lecturers of Arabic intensive program have taught systematically and methodologically. Second, the objectives of Arabic intensive program are listening, speaking, reading and writing abiities in Arabic. Third, students' ability to participate in Arabic lectures is hardly adequate indicating that the outcomes of Arabic intensive program have not been satisfactory.
