Fondamentalism is, in the present day, an interpetable word. Its meaning depends on standpoint utilized. From the westerm's point of view, fundamentalism, which invariably identifies as radicalism, extremism, even terorism, is always viewed in a negative way, especially it refers to the muslims who strictly grasp and implement Islamic teachings, Its existence is so dangerous for western interest in the word, particularly in the muslim countries. Therefore, those who claimed as fundamentalists must be fought. This view is misleading, because behind the decision to fight the fundamentalists, there is actually a political agenda, among other things is to rele them under its power. Ehile from muslims perspective, fundamentalism means to hold Islamic doctrines totally and apply them in daily life. It daes not mean that they accept the doctrine without any reason; they are require to their openmind to find the truth. syur.
