One of the main trends in Islamic modernism is the pursuitof rational exegesis of the Qur’an. This is thegreatness ofthe Qur’an, toprovethat themagic is exist, thenthe editorused ismake use ofSihrsentencesaharah(plural) to refer tothe inperpetratorofmagic(builders / wizards). Therefore,the presence or absenceof magicdependingon theactors/practitionersof magic.rnAlthoughmore famousmagicispartofkufr.and fallingany story in the Qur'an talking about magic or sorceryis interpreted as being practiced through the methodsThisis a testexistencemagic, Allahdesired. Magiceffect is veryharmful to thephysical life, orthe life ofthe soul. rnOne of great Islamic Scholars FakhruddinArRaziwas one of the outstanding figures in Islamic theology, commentary and philosophy. By his rational interpretation he said that there are kinds of magic. There are not all magic forbidden, some allowed to be known as it’s basically as science that given by Allah. As a comparation to his thought the writer also give the the interpretation by RasyidRida who stated that sihr is totally forbidden.rn
